More leads are useless if nobody follows up. Here's the sequence structure that keeps the follow-up human.
Most deals aren't lost to competitors. They're lost to silence.
The follow-up problem is almost never intent — it's capacity. Automation fixes capacity.
Sequence shape
- Minute 1: instant acknowledgement with a booking link
- Minute 5: a call attempt or voice agent callback
- Day 1: a short message referencing what they actually asked about
- Day 3: one piece of proof relevant to their category
- Day 7: a direct, easy-to-decline close
- Day 30: a quiet reactivation touch
Keep it specific
Generic sequences read as spam because they are. Pull the details the lead already gave you — the service, the timeline, the city — into the first line of every message.
Then stop the sequence the second a human replies. Nothing destroys trust faster than an automation talking over a live conversation.
